SKETCHUP MODEL
THE BRIDGE
The bridge is a combination of how I portrait Oprah Winfrey and LadyGaga. The middle section of the bridge is covered and surrounded, very safe and secured this is an idea I have of Oprah Winfrey, which gives people a form of security. Her state of power and level of influence is very firm and steady.
The sides of the bridge reflects on LadyGaga's character. Not afraid to try on new things, and so I created an open space with no fence or bars at the side to prevent people from falling, that shows some sort of bravery people need to have in order to cross the bridge. This is also the step LadyGaga taken, being different from others and that brought her to where she is now, one of the most influential person.
Gaga's space
Gaga's Elevator
Description:
Gaga's space is different, that is why I chose different colours that doesn't matches to show how Gaga is not afraid to try new things and that is how she stands out. The elevator have pointy edges which shows the wild side of her, not afraid to be the odd one and red is the best colour as it is striking and it shows the potential within a person.
Oprah's space
Oprah's Elevator
Description:
Oprah is a very influential person and she definitely has power. She is well known as a generous, kind and loving person, a person who has so much passion and love in her. And so, I've decided to create a space which is fairly simple to fit her personality. She is indeed a humble, modest, down to earth person, therefore a space with simple one colour toned that shows how how such powerful person can be that down-to-earth to be in such a place. As for the elevator, light colours are applied that symbolises her gracefulness, loving yet sophisticated with the striped decoration on the top.
Dining table
The dining table is place where both Oprah and LadyGaga will meet up and therefore, I thought it should be something that both of them share in common. Both Oprah and Gaga are female that has influence over people. Both of them must have a feminine and petit side and therefore I create an oval shaped table as that shape reminds me of egg with of course needed to be handled with care. Whereas the circles means space given to them, their individual space for food. The table piece is a vase with rose. Roses give people the feeling of grace, gentle and admiration. This is exactly how people see Oprah and Gaga especially admiration.

Power represents the interplay between influence and success, the ability to affect the world; impact others.
Influence is the union of power. There should be a dominant purpose behind this influence I believe and with this power, you can transform and help others who have this desire to succeed but just need an opportunity. Only then you are considered as a true inspiration and only then people will sit back in admiration. That defines power !
Opportunities can be created through chances of education, goodness and generosity by somebody offering help to people less fortunate. Somebody like Oprah Winfrey, an incredible TV star, magazine founder, businesswoman and celebrity and certainly has power. Her influence in the world is less direct but entirely meaningful by showing moral responsibilities to help others and often moved others by the deep love she has. To many, she is a source of strength. Her life and work are testaments to the immensity of her bountiful heart.
Power is also built when you are successful, famous, or a trendsetter. Having millions in your pocket meaning you can give hope and support others with it, support people who is struggling and help make dreams of millions come true.

The time setting is 5.45p.m which gives a beautiful sunset and also lighting the model, creating shadows that shines to the ground and slight reflection in the water under the model. However, not each part and every angle of the model gets an equal amount of sunlight due to their position. This somehow reflects on the nature of man which is selfishness in man. The sunlight can be said as representing the external force acting towards the surrounding, creating a rather compact instead of a plain boring environment.
The final landform shows the connection between the water and and the ground. Selfishness can be seen the ground doesn't share the same amount of height and textures, there are some terrains which are pretty high and rough as well as sharp, most of them are just flat and smooth and even to walk on and also, there are some area which is flatter and sinks below and goes close to the water which leads out to the sea. This also shows and proves the theory-once in motion, an object will continue until acted upon by an external force. The different textures and types of terrains is competing to stand out.
The reason for placing the model to the terrain is to show that there's a motion acting upon the ground and the model. Also, it shows the selfish nature of man when only one component is connected to the ground and not every level of the building touches the ground, in fact, one of the rectangular prism is forced down to the water. Not every part of the component contacts the ground.
